PROGRAM IN SUSTAINABLE FINANCE

Supported by Vinnova, the Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre in collaboration with Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education and the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts (SSF) has developed a two-day educational program in Sustainable Finance. 

The program is tailored towards capital markets participants and is held mainly in Swedish, but some materials will be provided in English. Tentative dates are 6-7 November 2018, at the Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm.

PROGRAM CONTENT

Below some questions that will be answered during the program:

  • How can sustainability be integrated into models of investment and lending decisions?
  • What are the pros and cons of different models?
  • How is financial return affected by integrating ESG into these decisions?
  • What are the challenges of considering and integrating ESG into investment and lending decisions?  

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The program is led by Hanna Setterberg (PhD) and experts from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Stockholm Environment Institute will hold lectures and engage with participants during the program.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet academics and other experts in sustainable finance. This program is primarily designed for those who work with risk and business decisions in the financial sector, including the insurance and pension sector. It will be delivered through lectures, discussion rounds and group exercises.
