Since joining SSFC, Heidi has focused on green bonds – assessing their potential for bridging the adaptation finance gap, as well as analysing issuer related impact reporting. Since 2016, Heidi has been part of the Cicero-led Expert Network on Second Opinions (ENSO). Her work in the network includes assessing and rating green bond frameworks of financial institutions, municipalities and commercial companies in accordance with the standards set by Green Bond Principles of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) and the CICERO Shades of Green. Heidi’s broader work relates to governance/decision making, climate issues, supply chain governance, urban infrastructure, as well as the interaction between the private sector, society, and the environment.
Heidi holds a Master´s degree in Urban Environmental Management (MSc) from Wageningen University (NL) and is currently working on her PhD at University of Helsinki.
