Green by default – how sustainable finance becomes the obvious choice

There are still few sustainable products in savings and investment. Reports from Söderberg and Partners show that several pension companies and banks received red ratings for impact work, sustainable investment processes and their ambitions to become more sustainable. And although consumers are taking more responsibility and make more sustainable choices, even when it comes down to financial decisions, the definition of what is green and sustainable is not clear.

This session focussed on the definition of sustainable finance and what is green. How can policies create incentives for financial institutions to integrate sustainability aspects in savings and pension funds? What tools do companies need to succeed and how can we increase transparency? How can innovation be stimulated in this area?
