Sustainability issues have been central to the financial sector for quite some time, but there are still many uncertainties about the interdependence of sustainability and finance. Also there are very few, if at all, tailored education programs that summarize research-based knowledge and give insights on how to integrate sustainability into investment decisions.
SSFC aims to bridge the gap between traditional investment theory and integrating the new contexts of a shared economy as well as environment, social, and governance (ESG) aspects. Sustainable finance is quickly becoming a core part of the mission of financial institutions, businesses and governments.
Our programs are designed specifically to contribute to global sustainability and help to fullfil the pledges in the Paris Climate Agreement. In particular we focus on the expansion of supply of green bonds worldwide.
Through the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) Executive Education
we are offering tailored programs to help financial actors become future leaders in sustainable finance. Through different types of programs we aim to provide the foundational knowledge in the emerging theories and practice of sustainable finance and investment.
We aim to equip participants with knowledge to navigate and critically analyse the key aspects and developments in sustainable finance. Networking and relationship building to engage and further collaborate with financial sector stakeholders are just some of the side effects of joining one of these programs.
