The SSFC educational program was tailored towards capital markets participants and run from 2018 until the end of 2022.
Sustainability issues have been central to the financial sector for quite some time, but there are still many uncertainties about the interdependence of sustainability and finance. At the time, there was very few, if any, tailored education programs that summarized research-based knowledge and gave insights on how to integrate sustainability into investment decisions.
Our programs were designed specifically to contribute to global sustainability and help to fulfill the pledges under the Paris Climate Agreement. In particular we focused on the expansion of the supply of green bonds worldwide.

Tailored programs
Through the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) Executive Education SSFC offered tailored programs to help financial actors become future leaders in sustainable finance. Through a variety of programs we aimed to provide foundational knowledge in the emerging theories and practice of sustainable finance and investment. Opportunities to network and build relationships with financial sector stakeholders invested in the sustainability challenge was another key benefit of joining one of these programs.
